We love to make a difference and one of our unique white dove release experiences promises just that - at any event - big, small, public or private.
White doves are a universal symbol of peace, purity, harmony, innocence and love, and we nurture all those qualities in our lovingly reared and specially trained birds.
Our objective is to ensure you, your loved ones and guests feel special as our white doves gracefully take wing, high into the sky.
The welfare of our doves and the environment is important to us
The release of white doves is considered an environmentally sustainable alternative to the release of balloons, confetti and fireworks displays.
In fact, "In Queensland, the release of balloons into the environment is considered littering under the Waste Reduction and Recycling Act 2011 - whether released deliberately or by accident".
Our doves are trained and upon release, fly safely home to their loft.
The 'white doves' we refer to on this web page and in our brochures are white racing pigeons and trained to home.

We at Townsville Dove Release are meticulous down to every detail - from the housing, care and training of our much loved doves, right through to the presentation of doves to be released at your special event.
Before, during or following the release, you may choose to say some meaningful words, or perhaps read a poem to represent the occasion.
A dove release signifies a new beginning, your love and devotion to someone special, or a celebration of the gathering.
We offer the option of a representative from Townsville Dove Release
to read a heartfelt poem or other appropriate words, or you may choose for yourself or a loved one to undertake such an honour.
